Most farmers are facing many problems among others, including lack of good dairy and meet breeds. Trinity Southern Sahara caters to empower minority cattle keepers and vulnerable communities in Tanzania through improving their cattle breeds and overall farming activities

Tanzania has the fourth largest cattle heard in Africa. An article published by Lars Kamer on statista's website; suggests that, as of 2020, Tanzania's cattle stock reached 28.3 million heads. In the previous year, 27.8 million heads of cattle were kept for breeding or raised either for meat or dairy production. In general, the Tanzanian cattle stock has increased since 2010. That year, there were roughly 19.2 million cattle heads in the country.
